HistoryEdit

"Molly Man" (-∞ - 2006)Edit

Before 2006, DJ Does a Good Job was referred to exclusively as Molly Man due to his oft-worn Flogging Molly t-shirt. He spoke rarely and ate only french fries in ketchup provided to him by the San Juan Unified School District.

"Rob" and The Lobster Rockets (2006-2007) Edit

In 2006, Molly Man became Rob upon joining the third-wave ska band group, The Lobster Rockets, with some boys who would go on to form She's a Dead Man. During this period of time, he grew closer to The Flesh of Bulls through Academic Decathlon and The Flesh of Bulls's tenuous affiliation with The Lobster Rockets. DJ Does a Good Job played trumpet in the band, though he and everyone else recognized his crippling musical limitations. It was also during this period that DJ Does a Good Job and band groupmate Hick Nanks formed the band group The Rick Conclusion.

"DJ Does a Good Job" (2008)Edit

Early in 2008, DJ Does a Good Job was a member of That's Adultery. During this stint, he was known as DJ Does a Good Job. With the help of his turntables, he provided some sweet scratches, etc. Unfortunately, he was honorably discharged from the band group after he sold said turntables.

Art Edit

Robart

DJ Does a Good Job is a self-proclaimed artist. He makes drawings and stencils and experimental films. He has also dabbled in performance art with his performance art troupe, Smashing Electronics is Like Doing Crack, a group of guys who get together to smash electronics, commenting on how technology is overwriting that which makes us most human. DJ Does a Good Job's images are mostly of awkward men with sparse but dark hair in unappealing areas of their face and pronounced facial wrinkles. Often they will have odd moustaches, or furrowed unibrows. Random text often takes precendence in DJ Does a Good Job's work, recalling a more scattershot and street savvy version of Jenny Holzer or Bruce Nauman. DJ Does a Good Job has worked on one experimental film, 103 4879, which makes use of minimalistic cinematography, light and shadow effects and naturalistic performances from two talented young actors. 103 4879 was panned as pornographic at the Cannes Film Festival, but DJ Does a Good Job took it in stride and returned to his studio to draw. He was critically lauded for his installation piece, "Maxi Pad Mashed into an Air Duct", which he constructed with help from Tarvis and The Penis He Thought Was His Own.
